Dating Tips for Men

Published by Jag Mistry at 11:51 pm under Dating

Gentlemen, if you want to make that lasting first impression, or want things to move forward with a pre-existing relationship, here’s a few tips to knock that girl off her feet:
- Hit the Gym!  And i’m not talking two or three days before the date, I mean make it a regular part of your week.  Despite what they say, women are looking out for that hot bod just like us guys.
- Don’t wear what your mother recommends.  New clothes, and looking good in general has a huge effect in the way you feel.  If you feel comfortable and confident, the more of an impression you are going to make.
- Be Creative!  Remember girls get hit up a lot more than us guys.  What’s going to make you stand out!
- Listen.  The number one turn off for girls is guys that don’t listen well.

    Jag,

Gym, great idea. Good for the soul, great for the spirit.

A few things to add when going out:

Clothing - keep it simple if you don’t have style. Kakis and a decent shirt will do. Don’t wear shirts with flowers or bright colors just to stand out. It’s probably not for the unfashionable. Stand out with a unique ring [good conversation starter], scent, hair style etc. Imitating other people’s styles is not always best option. If Chimanlal can do it you can too!!

Cologne - one spay on neck, one on wrist and one final on the shirt. When you see someone you like, approach with confidence and get just close enough so she can have a slight reminiscence of your scent as you walk by. [also refer to section on body odor]

Body odor: If you tend to sweat, make sure to use antiperspirant/deodorant vs. only deodorant. Sweaty armpits will leave a lasting impression, but not in your favor.

Teeth - Brush your teeth; after you’re done, brush again [2 minutes is the general rule]. Remember white teeth and nice clean breath should go without saying, but too many times we can get shot down without a fighting chance because we forget the devil is in the details [thanks for the reminder JAG].

That’s it for now, I’ve got this really irritating itch in my lungi [I think it’s the label, don’t you hate that]…..

    Signing out,
    Chimanlal
